Richard Gajewski-Gębka graduated from the National Academy of Theater Arts in Kraków with the title of Master of Arts. His teachers were the most outstanding Polish actors and directors, among others Jerzy Stuhr, Jan Nowicki, Anna Polony, Jerzy Jarocki, Ewa Lassek and Izabella Olszewska. As a student, he appeared in popular television programs, among others "Spotkanie z Balladą".
He was cast in many significant theatrical roles in Warsaw, Kraków and Opole theaters where he performed with the best polish actors. Here are a few examples of theater plays that have earned him the most recognition: „Horsztyński”, „Sen Nocy Letniej”, „Wielki Człowiek do Małlych Iinteresów”, „Życie jest Snem”, „Zemsta”, „Wilki”, „Poskromienie Złosnicy”, „Powrót Posła”.
He guest-performed at the Teatr Adekwatny in Warsaw. He played in Jan Łomincki's films „Akcja pod Arsenałlem”, „Rozkaz Ocalić Miasto” and in the TV series "Dom". In addition, he worked on television, radio, and dubbing. In 1990, he immigrated to Chicago. From 1992 for several years he cooperated with the WNVR radio station 1030, where he created and performed in the program "Wszyscy to Wiedzą". Currently, he is cooperating with the "Teatr Nasz" in Chicago.
