In February 2017, Sounds and Notes Foundation presented the first Chopin IN the City. For eight days, Chopin’s music traveled across Chicago — from the Polish Consulate and PianoForte to the Green Mill, the Poetry Foundation, the Polish Museum of America, and Loyola University — through classical recitals, jazz, poetry, film, and a children’s performance celebrating Chopin’s 207th birthday.
