John Kregor

guitarist
In Austin in the late 90's, John Kregor studied guitar with Adam Holzman, jazz with Jeff Hellmer, and composition with Rick Lawn and Dan Welcher at the University of Texas. After graduating (Magna Cum Laude) in 2000 he moved up to Chicago to check out the scene. Since then he's had the good fortune to play with loads of great cats all over the world. He's still waiting for the catch. In addition to music-making, John also loves cooking, chess and Tai Chi, and his wife, toddling son and infant daughter.
