We offer opportunities for children, young people, and adults to engage with music. Through workshops, family events, and interdisciplinary activities, we invite audiences to listen, explore, and create.
What happens when Chopin’s music enters a jazz club, inspires a painting, or becomes a theatrical performance?
Chopin in the City brings these possibilities to life. Organized by Sounds and Notes Foundation, the festival explores Chopin’s legacy through classical music, jazz, folk, dance, theater, and visual art.
Presented in venues across Chicago, the festival brings international guests together with musicians from the city’s creative community. It welcomes longtime music lovers and curious first-time listeners alike.
